About Us

Happy Feet & Hand Spa was established in 2011.

In 2003 Jin Fang (Jean) started her Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) training, first studying body massage in order to help her family stay healthy. As a child she had assisted her grandmother in treating the people of her rural community with TCM therapies. Later, 2011, Jean furthered her studies of TCM medicine in Nanjing, China. Jean along with Lee studied at the Nanjing International Traditional Chinese Medicine school, and they both passed the Chinese government certification exam in TCM studies. We opened Happy Feet & Hand Spa with the intention of helping Americans learn about the benefits of TCM.

Richard has over twenty five years experience practicing and teaching internal Chinese martial arts. He uses his knowledge of energy work (qigong) regularly to help customers understand the association energy has to the acupressure points and meridians in Chinese Reflexology and TCM therapy.

Zheng JIng Li (Lee) joined the business in 2012, after studying Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China, at the Nanjing International Traditional Chinese Medicine school.

Jean  completed her massage therapy training in 2016. Jean is providing TCM therapy,  Head Reflexology and Massage  therapies. All  of our technicians perform the Foot and Hand Reflexology service.

I started training in Chinese martial arts (tai chi) in 1994, with the intention to improve a back injury that had been bothering me for almost twenty five years. Within six months almost all the pain and stiffness was gone. Been studying and practicing daily ever since. Because of my interest in Chinese martial arts, and qigong I traveled to China. While on my 2003 trip, I was fortunate to meet Jean while visiting Shanghai, China. A few years after Jean came to America we started thinking about  opening a business with the idea of sharing with the American people the many benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2011,  employing TCM therapies we were able to repair my torn rotator cuff, while avoiding surgery. This using  Foot Reflexology, Cupping,  Gua Sha, and acupressure massage techniques. I am proof that TCM can be highly effective in overcoming body function issues.
